Once settled, most central sightseeing is best on foot. The tram becomes useful when rain, timing or tired legs make a short hop smarter. Always check the live stop display or a journey planner: routes can change because of works or service adjustments.

12 Westin side → main square

Walk to the Vodnikova area and check line 12 toward the centre. For the return, confirm the destination shown on the vehicle before boarding.

6 Sheraton side → main square

Line 6 commonly links the Sheraton / station side with Ban Jelačić Square. Check the platform direction and live service information.

A 30-minute paper ticket is normally enough for these short central rides. Buy at a ZET sales point or partner kiosk when possible; driver tickets cost more and require cash.

Valid for a daytime journey in the first or second tariff zone, in one direction. Keep the ticket until the journey ends.

Pleso airport shuttle

The official airport page lists 35–40 minutes between Franjo Tuđman Airport and Zagreb Central Bus Station. You still need the final connection to your hotel.

Cobblestones count

Upper Town is close, but the climb and uneven surface feel different after a long flight. Wear proper walking shoes and shorten the first route.

Cards are widely useful in central Zagreb. Keep a small euro cash backup for kiosks, markets, public toilets or an in-vehicle tram ticket.
